Crazy Fifa
just read some articles on Soccernet...apparently Fifa is going to announce that players who take off their shirts when celebrating a goal will be cautioned with a yellow card. they seem to find that it's "unsporting" behaviour to celebrate in this way and it's deemed as "excessive displays of joy" all i can say is...ABSOLUTE CRAP.
anyone who have played football, especially if it's competitive football, will know the kind of emotions the players go through when they score a goal. it's inevitable that they will celebrate..if it's an important game...it's inevitable that emotions run high during the game...to caution a player for celebrating a goal...well it's ridiculous..soon they'll book players for smiling after scoring a goal. football is about passion..without passion..football is not football...in fact...i can't think of anything that can function without passion...sometimes i actually wonder if the people who came up with these nonsense, whether they actually watch football or are in fact football fans...just get the feeling that they are just businessmen, who totally dun give a damn about football, dun know anything about it, dun care about it, there are just too many stupid regulations that don't make sense at all..
oh well...i'm rather spent...gonna catch an hour's sleep before the match...
Life bloody sucks....
